Foods to Make & Eat This Month

In a previous post, I talked about categorizing food by season. Like certain foods just taste better when eaten at a certain time of year. Well, I guess you could take it a step further and categorize food by month too? I mean especially if it's February.

So here are a few foods that will taste (and look) especially good purely because of what month it is.

-Farm Grilled Chicken Sandwich from the Beach House, lathered in especially festive ketchup.

-Stovetop Oatmeal & Strawberries, courtesy of Ruth Carmichael Ellinger.

-Just Strawberries- picked right from the local fields in Florida, of course.

-Reese's Peanut Butter Cups- mini homemade ones that are heart shaped (and taste exactly like the real thing).

-Love Crunch Granola- plus, it's all natural.

-Mini Cranberry Donuts- I just baked a cranberry muffin mix inside my mini donut pan.

-Caramel & Chocolate Shortbread Tart. It really looks like the picture in the book. (I found some "please" post-its laying around the house to mark recipe books with. Cause "please" is exactly what comes to my mind when I see delicious food.)

 -Calamari from J. Alexander's, even if you normally hate seafood.

It's safe to say the New Year's Resolution diets have probably all officially ended. You just can't resist this goodness.
